BOSU Ballast Trainer 65cm. A 65cm exercise ball with added dynamic weight. Weighs approx. 6 lb. Lift it, Shift it, Shake it! The Ballast Ball will give you a unique and effective total body workout that can easily be done at home or at the gym. Regular exercise with the Ballast Ball will help you improve your balance, coordination, and functional strength. The Ballast Ball has been designed to be easy to use, and easy to begin working with. You can begin with beginner exercises and then progress onto more difficult ones as your balance and strength get better. The internal weight consists of a stabilizing load that optimizes the rate of flow (internal shifting) inside the ball and provides enhanced audible feedback for lifting and shifting exercises. The unique advantage of the Ballast is the Stabilizing Factor. This is at its lowest during the initial movement of the ball, when the DSL material is lying flat. This provides a high degree of challenge that promotes balance, core stability, and coordination. The Stabilizing factor increases to its maximum value as the ball rolls out of center and the DSL begins to tilt and shift inside the ball. From a training standpoint this creates an unstable training environment.
