Tynan Stack, son of Fitterfirst founder Louis Stack, became involved in the family business from a very young age. Now a third year student at the University of British Columbia, the varsity track and field athlete (and Fitterfirst juniour engineer) is continuing in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps. His recent re-design of an existing Balance Board is now on shelves as the Extreme Balance Board Pro.
What inspired the board?
Tasked with updating and improving existing products, Tynan saw an opportunity to enhance the previous Balance Board by adding more challenging features. By developing an advanced prototype, he created a one-of-a-kind board that appeals to a wider range of customers.
What sets it apart from similar equipment on the market?
To date, this is the most challenging board that Fitterfirst sells and quite possibly the most difficult board that exists. However, its smart design allows the board to tip forward and backwards enough so the user remains very engaged while maintaining their balance.
Who should buy this board?
This all-encompassing balance board works for a variety of users. For increased difficulty, simply add more stoppers. In Tynan’s own words: “The versatility makes this board a powerful tool for everything from high level athletic training, to rehab and recovery work, as well as day-to-day heath and fitness for the average person.”
